is there any keystoke to achieve the small 2 above the m?

I have to print labels were the articles are priced per square metre. is there any keystoke to achieve the small 2 above the m I suppose it would be known as superscript in some software. This make my life much easier as I have 100's to print.

thanks in advance

ALT 0178

Hold the ALT key and type 0178 (including zero) on the numeric keypad NOT the numbers at the top of the keyboard.

Highlight 2 letters from your text string, left click on superscript icon on top tool bar, right character will move. Right clicking on icon will give size and position options.

I always use the older layout 4.95 but I have had a peek at the on screen text editing and I can see your method is very easy. Perhaps I should be using that layout method all the time , old habits are hard to change.
I sure that even after using signlab since the good old b/w days I am still only utilising half of its capibilities I probably need a good training course.
Thanks for the help, Brushman

If truth be known most of us are only using a fraction on the softwares capability. I use Signlabs "align to baseline" alot now, but only twigged how it worked it last year, and I still don't know what "zoom open" does. It would be interesting for others to chip in with functions they have just discovered after using their software for some while.

"zoom open"

i use the f6 f7 f8 keys for zooming quickly, i never use the tool to the left,

f6 is to zoom out f7 to zoom in and f8 brings the border size to fit screen.

Neither do I (not much help that eh) - I have been trying for ages to figure what it does - it's not mentioned in the manual or help files.

My Tips: - CTR / Z (undo); CTR / Y (redo); F2 - turns off all but the current layer. CTR+click on any colour turns on (or off) that colour layer; CTR + K (align - last settings); Alt + S (turn fills on or off); CTR + E (go into node edit - this is useful if you are in amongst a lot of objects and it's difficult to double click).
