Nice old building Derek. I much prefer that sort of thing to a modern tin box.

Only a small part of mine is older, and only then dating back to the mid fifties when it started life as a transport cafe, but the floor tiles are brilliant and I doubt that i could get anything anywhere near as good done today without spending mega-bucks.

hi john
i have tried to research the building it has in its time been engineering works, wood work shop, and an antique warehouse, that i know of
most of the cellar has gone but from the bottom end is a couple of units one full height and the other long and low.
the roof at the top which is all covered has behind really ornate iron work,

we are at the minute building offices at the shutter end
inside we have fitting bay and machine room and loads of storage which is rapidly filling up :-?
will post some more pictures later

Oh, I recognised it but, as you were referring to it as home, I thought I'd better say nothing.

It'd be cheaper living at the Savoy mate! :D

This is my Ma and Pa's house, i have a flat in town centre, but they have let me use their double garage which you can see as a workshop. It used to be completely full of junk! Now the garage doors are blocked from the inside and my best mate who is a builder has fitted a proper window and door on the side wall. That is my black car. I like your Pick up Peter.

This is where I live and work from in Central Brittany, France (for now, we are selling). We haven't made it on to Google Street View yet although our nearest town has, but are now on Google Earth instead of being a blur.

My house is the white one next door to the shop. Original cottage built 120 years ago. One of the first to be built in the road.
