Hall of Shame

After looking at some of the good work from Warren and Marcella, I thought it only right that I should post up some of ours, so here's one we did this morning.

I asked the fitter what it was like to apply the vinyl and he said that it sticks in most places. :D

Fair's fair though, the customer knows exactly what he wants, and has no unrealistic expectations about putting graphics on his old vehicles. In fact he is so pleased with our work that he has been known to give us joint of pork from the pigs he breeds as a sideline.

:lol1: proof yet again that a fitters life is not all wine and roses. What was the guarantee? 3 months or 60mph - whichever comes first?

I do stuff like that almost every day... But the bright side is that the money you get from these jobs is just as valid as the money that comes from posh jobs, right?

that's absolutely true! The best kind of job is one where you have a very happy customer that pays his bill without hassle!

Absolutely correct Otto.

And in some ways it's better money because it's easier to earn. There's no messing about, and no customer walking around it afterwards trying to pick fault, with comments like, "that's not quite how I'd pictured it". or, "that colour isn't quite right".

Bonus for us, how many of you can say that your graphics doubled the value of the vehicle? :D

Bonus for the customer, come scrapping time, he'll get more for the number plate than the truck cost him to buy, kit out, and run for three years. :D

Without checking, this must be about the fifteenth vehicle we've done for this customer in the last twelve months and, although we wouldn't put our sticker on any of them, we consider him a good customer. In fact, we could do with more like him. :D

You've seen where I live, John.
Here that would be a real head-turner.
And at least you can read the damn thing, it is refreshingly free of fills and effects.
Love....Jill

No no never say it Peter.
The Pens still have the record, 17 games straight back int the day.
I would get you a new hat but they were a promotional item with beer last year, this year it's a t-shirt.
But I haven't drank for a month now.
