Upgrading Browser, which one?

I know the time has come to upgrade.
I am currently on an older version of IE (I think 7)
I did try 8 a few months ago but disliked it, so reverted to my original.
Any opinions on FireFox or Google Chrome?
How do they compare to IE?
Thanks.
Love....Jill

Im using firefox and find it very user friendly. Also use Explorer from time to time but just dont get on with it now. In addition I also use Safari and find that quite good too. Stayed clear of Google Chrome after all the security/privacy hype.

Hi Jill,

I use both Firefox and IE8 and both work as well as each other for me, not much "visible" difference although Firefox is meant to be more secure. Just wish they would introduce the zoom feature that IE8 has, I use that a lot, or if they have I haven't found it!

Nah.

For real speed, the latest version of Safari.

Makes Firefox look like a snail. :)

AOL browser ... AOL for business is just a joke

i remember the days of 2002-4 using such a 'home friendly' peice of non-sense. To be quite frank, I not heard much from AOL lately, have they finally gone under yet? no.. shame

go to TOOLS, OPTIONS, then TABS and un-check all the boxes and select OK.

under SECURITY select all boxes other than USE MASTER PASSWORD. click OK. that should be it really...

i used tabs all the time,... can be a problem when u loose a tab under a tab.

i have 10-20 running...

thing is, memory is easier on tabs then a new window.

ie8 isn't that bad now, except IE always been well known to not render a website correctly as Microsoft in the earlier days couldn't write the browser correctly.
