In the words of a now long dead protector and provider to these proud Islands... "Never in the history of Signmaking was so much done by so few for so many"

I would like on behalf of all members of this elite site to propose a toast at Hogmany to Robert and indeed all contributors who have worked tirelessly to create and housekeep this great "Tool" that we all enjoy the UKSG....THREE CHEERS FOR ROBERT a post with hip hip Horray will show your world-wide appreciation for this man and indeed to us all, as we, I hope, help to keep his interest alive.... lets all raise a glass at midnight tomorrow wherever in the world we may be to.....

The Laird of Signmakers Wee Robby Lambie.....

The information we have accrued on this site as a group as been immense.
It is difficult to imagine being without the forum.

I know I have been up late in the morning 2am-3am :o and lo and behold there's Robert on line, working on demo's, updating, cleaning up, resolving server problems and so on.

There is also a healthy bunch of helpful guys ready to give advice and reassurance.

So let's look forward to 2004 (colours) (pop)
Hope it will another great year of interaction.

Well said all of the above !!!

Keep up the excellent work Rob, I know we all appreciate it even if it doesn't get said often enough. Especially bearing in mind the difficult situation which arose recently with the MTS departure.

It's great to have somewhere to come and bounce ideas off others especially when you're new to the game or even a very small business like myself.

So three cheers for Rob and long may the success of the site continue.... *drink*

p.s. well done on the 1000th member of the site too :D

I couldn't agree more about Rob being a great guy.
If he ever comes to Pittsburgh, I will take him out to the Strip District
for a genuine Primanti Brothers sandwich and toast him with Iron City beer.
Then I will show him the murals in Mars.
A big thumbs up to you, mate, lad, are a gentleman and a scholar! where did I put that MD 20/20 in the brown paper bag?
*drink* urp!

Isn't it great that we all agree on this !

I have found this site in general and Rob in particular, to be a fantastic asset to me and my business. Being a one-man band, and mainly self-taught, the ability to draw on this resource makes my life a whole lot better.

So its a big thankyou to the UKSB members in general and a slightly bigger thankyou to Rob!!!!

I cant really add much to what has been said but I agree with it all, may 2004 be an even bigger success.
Robert works so hard on the site that he hasn't even had time to make a brass plaque

Blimey! I’m humbled folks.. infact im welling up right now… (hmm)

Seriously though, thanks a million for all the support everyone has shown to me over the last 2 years.. More so even recently. I’ve had tons of emails and pms from people I haven’t even made a public post? People I didn’t know existed… THANK YOU. :D

When I thought about creating the UK sign group & the UK signboards, my initial goal was always to create a real home for the UK sign community.. Only 2 years on & it has become even more that due to the likes of Henry, Bob, Leeroy, Gray, Jill, Rodney & many many others from around the globe.
This sites success is a joint effort from everyone, we should all be proud!

Thanks Steve, john, mark, sally, Dave, john, Nigel, Jill, Nicola, Alan, Kevin & Martin.
“I wish you all the best all the best for the new year!”
“Yees ar a grate bunch, so yeez are!” (drink1)

A personal thanks also to; -
All the Full UKSG members. We now fly the flag as the biggest UK sign makers buying group, even larger than the franchise groups!
We topped 90 independent UK sign companies this year.. Lets see what the year 2004 brings for us..
A personal thanks also to; -
All the visitors & registered users of the site. 2 years on and the is now the largest, busiest and best UK sign site on the internet today topping around 17 thousand visitors a month… im sure 2004 will see that figure rocket! (hot)

My new years resolution is to show far more action on the site as opposed to off.
I have some things up my sleeve for now, all will be revealed soon.

Thanks everyone..

now i better hit the sack.. its 4:10am and im suppossed to be fitting a van at McRods place around 9am :o .. jings... wheres me squeegee? im gonna sleep in for the bells :(

Now I'm convinced, you just don't sleep do you?

Congrats Robert and looking forward to what the New Year will bring :D

Cheers (3 of), Dewi
