Does anybody know where I can get hard copy manual

Hi all

Very new to the signage game and have taken over a business running Flexi Sign pro and we do not seem to have the manual anywhere!

Does anybody know where I can get a hard copy / electronic copy from.

Cheers

Liam if you have the software disks then check them, you may find the manual as a pdf for you to view on-screen or print out.

Liam,

On my version, if you go to help menu it is on there as PDF. (or try F1)

Try contacting Graphtec or Granthams.

May be worth introducing yourself first. Doubt anybody will be overly helpful as this is your 1st post. And many myself included may jump to the conclusion that you have a cracked copy of Flexi hence no manual. Apologies if that is not the case, but there seems to be a very large number of people out there that have. Most of those using it to run a Chinese machine for a start :o

Hi Graham

To be honest the two posts prior to yours were helpfull and for my first post I find your comments unwelcoming, surely whether it is my first post or my 10th does not matter and to not be helpfull surely defeats the purpose of the forum.

I myself will help anyone and not judge prior to asking further questions. For your interest my brother bought a failing sign business which I now run, as part of the take over we inherited pc's with various sign packages installed, some we have dongles /manuals included we are in the process of sorting the chaff from the wheat.

As for Chinese machines we do not have any and run the machines listed in my profile.

Who is Graham?

I have told you the 2 companies that sell Flexi. A quick call to either would answer your question. And fyi I can't see profiles.

Dunno who Graham is either :-? and not everybody gets to see other profiles.

(A quick "Hi" as a first post (In the SAY HELLO section) can go a long way to breaking the ice).

Anyway, Liam, we get a LOT of first posts where the request is:

"I've bought an ebay plotter & run Flexisign, Corel X3 and Signlab...how do I work it...gimme, gimme, gimme"

So no offence is intended - just a degree of caution as there are those of us who paid big buck for original software only to see the suppliers / keen members giving away free info & technical support to some that obviously 'acquired' their copies. Some will be more forthcoming than others...depends if the glass is half empty or half full, eh!

Good to hear you want to get into the sign business - risky step as you're buying into one - hope it works.

But DO contact the retailers / look through the help file - it's usually easier to decipher than a book anyway!

Hi Liam, welcome to the boards, Brian is actually a very helpful supplier and I must have read the post in a different way to you, he told you who supplied the software so you could contact then, he suggested that you introduce yourself in the hello forum because those people that do get a lot more replies to their posts, basically because we are all nosey and like to know who we are helping :lol1: and he explained to you that some people might not help because there are a lot of people who buy a cracked copy of an expensive sign program then ask people on the boards how to use it as Dave has said.

Anyway all that said good luck with your new venture, don't know if you have a background in Signmaking or not but it is always a bit risky taking over a business that is failing. Hope you can turn things round and make it prifitable.
