I just bought an ebuyer 256mb pc133 for £21 + vat. It didn't work though. Spend the extra for a brand name.

try: dabs.com

you can use pc133 just the same, as long as you've got the right number of pins and it's SDRAM, not DDR...

A mate of mine who owns a computer shop...Has just lately had a lot of problems with ram. So now they only use Kingston with a lifetime guarantee... for the extra few quid, you can have the comfort that if it has a 'lifetime guarantee' there will be some sort of quality check prior to dispatch unlike mass-produced far-east ram ...Well, that's what he told me... So in me system, it gotta be Kingston...

any memory that is branded is often worth a look, persoanly I use Corsair which is a little more expensive again, but it's a little higher performance (tho only for geeks like me with nothing better to do than tweak settings to eak out that little extra performance)

other than tha Crutial are a good brand as well, but kingston are a well respected lot as well.
