surely Corel 9 comes with about 1100 fonts!!! including those you mention...aren't they on disc 4?...or one of the four discs anyway...

any TTF's can be utilised by Corel so long as they are installed on the system. See what you have bundled with other windows software like 'Word', 'Excel' 'Publisher' and others...failing that visit some of the font links on this site...

more soon

Eddie the reason you don't have old English is because you have the Irish version of Corel, they left out Old English

Only kidding, I'm a great lover of Ireland, I plan to retire there and study music since the best music in the whole world ccomes from there.

I tried one of the free fonts links and I was bombarded big time with pop-ups. When that happens - I never ever go back. When will they learn?

***geek hint***
to avoid popup banners if you disable "java" and "java script" that's about 99.9% of all the annoying popups gone. maybe more, it's in the advanced options in your web browser, it'll disable some of the flashy graphics and some sites might not work properly without it, but it's worth a try if your surfing sites like that which make tones of pop-ups like that.... there are some even better alternatives, like the web browser Mozilla can be set to stop sites opening new windows with java script, and Konquror (linux only, so die hard windows fans need not apply) actualy asks you if you want to allow the site to create a new window, so you can just ignore them where you think they'll just be advertising.

if your going to do that remember to turn it back on later when your done, otherwise you'll forget what a colourful place the web is <G>

Thanks for the 'geek' tip, I think there are programs that prevent pop-ups too but I've never tried them.

Is Mozilla a web browser?

I tried Opera for a while, I've tried lots of email alternatives too but I keep coming back to Uncle Bill's stuff, I confess! guilty!!

I've even looked at Word alternatives but one problem I have is synching with my Palm and my contact manager (ACT) they are all locked into working only with MS products.

yeah mozilla is a web browser, it's basicaly what became of netscape when they ran out of funding, they gave the code to the internet on the grounds that they were alowed to steal back any code that got written to use in netscape. netscape 6 and above are based on Mozilla.
