can anyone help with this window design please?

Comments are invited on these two designs. They are to go across the top of two shop windows, one window wider than the other, on the inside of the glass.
The customer gave the wording and wanted pictures showing 1. people, 2. clothing, 3. tent/camping 4. caravan or campervan.

The clipart took the longest, spent ages looking thru clipart files trying to find images that 'matched'.

I also had to keep the artwork simple to meet a budget (as always!! I don't have Alan's clients who'll pay for hand painted angels!!)

sorry about the size, tried to change it, but it didn't work :(

That reminds me I must buy a wide screen monitor    I like the bottom one Gray but the top one doesn't look very "Outdoorsy" how about changing the colours for greens and yellows, nice and green and sunny also those boots look like a pair of Doc Martens , Ill have a look to see if I can find some walking boots in my clipart. Hi Gray,

I’m afraid those Angeles are about a rare as blue moons.

One little thing on the design, I think I’d like to see ‘Camping Gear’ in all
caps; the legs of the ‘p’ & ‘g’ seem to be trying to escape the bottom of
the sign.

Alan

Hi Gray,

Reminds me abit of my trucking years at Edwin Shirley Trucking, all our trucks were painted yellow and purple, and people commented on that all the time.

The layouts fine I would have liked to have seen a few more earthy colours for the camping store.

Sorry Steve, I tried to edit the post with a smaller image but it wouldn't work, I'll try again.

Thanks Alan, I like the caps.

Henry, I agree about the earthy colours, but this is a window, and only about 300mm deep, so high impact is required. Also, yellow is the main colour of the store, actually, this is often the colour used by camping and army surplus stores here.

I'll keep working on it, thanks for the help
