Tim, I take it from your comments you dont produce visuals for all your customers. When you have a customer you dont produce a visual for what do you do ? Get them in and show them on the screen ?

We produce a proof for any signs we do, whatever the size.

When we are working for customers this large they want a lot of detail.

The drawings of all the coaches we do are taken of the mannufactures CAD system, and are very, very accurate.

When the Nat Exp, Shearings, Wallace Arnold etc come to the office I have to work live and do any alterations with the customer sat next to me,

Customers buying 20+ coaches and 1 or 2+ want to see the final design, finished before they leave. Thats working under pressure!.

I have maybe 1-2 hours to get these drawings done, from scratch.

Wish I could get work like this, but i’m afraid I don’t have that type of customer base. :-? For now anyway :P
i’m working on getting my own premises and joining the UKSG.

Sally dont take this the wrong way but you dont want customers like this, not just yet anyway. Start off with smaller customers, build your customer base, your confidence and your experience and in time the larger customers will come. Thats what I'm hoping anyway, at the moment if we had a customer of that size I'm not sure we could cope with their demands, we would probably end up loosing them and then never get another crack at it and we could possibly loose the chance of any other big contracts as well.
