|
|
When I put a box (Cut path) around my artwork in adobe illustrator, sometimes versaworks only shows 3 sides with the moving line.
This means it only cuts 3 sides of a square.
Does anyone have any idea why this is ?? |

I have tried that,
(1) Brought artwork in from customers PDF
Box comes up This file contains text that was created in a previous version of illustrator.
This legacy text must be updated before you can edit it.
Choose update to update all of the legacy text now.
I then press update.
I have also tried sending this straight to Photoshop.
I tried flattening it and making it in to a Jpeg or new PDF and then opening it up in illustrator, both still don't work.
(2) Art board is big enough for artwork
(3) Put cut line around artwork 1 point stroke
(4) Open in Versaworks only 3 sides have cut path
I have tried a different jpeg this way and EPS file and both are fine. |

That's happened a few times to me, once I was cutting a hundred decals and it decided to cut 3 sides on a random selection of the stickers. Here's how I fixed it:
edit - adjust the queue a/b settings before you load up the job. I just tried and it was greyed out when the job was already uploaded.
Go to queue a or b job settings (whichever you are using). Under the 'file format' tab the top box is for the EPS margin settings. Add a margin of 0.5mm and your cutlines should appear. I think the margin has to be above 0.35mm or it won't work so I just use 0.5mm.
Hope that helps! |
